We continue to look for companies that raise the bar in terms of customer needs, experience and beyond. This year, we are seeking out technology driven companies that has fantastic services to customers, be it in finance or otherwise, but where it makes sense to partner with Maybank. We want to hear propositions on how you can add further value via innovative “go-to-market” partnerships with Maybank.

The Programme

1. Open to any technology company globally, be it Fintech or non-Fintech.

2. The proposed partnership with Maybank can involve any of our business segments & entities (i.e. retail, global banking, insurance, MBB Kim eng etc. ) operating from any of our regional locations (i.e. Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines etc.).

3. A key criteria for selection would be the value proposition that your company puts forth in terms of potential partnership on the “go-to-market” strategy & business model.

4. “Go-to-market” partnership refers to the business strategy on how can both parties can work together in tapping an opportunity.

Engage the relevant business units within Maybank Group


MaybankFintech programme was conceived in 2015 as an avenue for global companies of different sizes to pitch their FinTech ideas, products or services. The inaugural programme attracted almost 100 companies from different geographies out of which 21 were shortlisted and 5 advancing into formal collaborations. This pioneering effort in Malaysia generated the necessary buzz and inertia across the FinTech ecosystem.


MaybankFintech 2016 was equally successful; resulting in almost 100 applications. Anchored on specific problem statements across a wide array of banking areas, a total of 40 shortlisted companies had the privilege to immerse and engage with subject matter experts various line of businesses within Maybank in refining their propositions.

We have been working closely with Maybank in multiple collaboration initiatives. #MaybankFintech2016 provided us with a strong platform to meet many stakeholders within the Bank.
